Of all my seniors this past year, I think Jess definitely had the hardest time waiting for her session date! She was totally on the ball and we met in early July to start making plans, but her shoot wasn’t scheduled until the end of September. She said it seemed like the wait took forever! Jess, a class of 2015 senior at Allendale High School, had most of her outfits and accessories ready to go early in the summer, and when she brought them over to show me I knew we were going to have a blast showing them all off!
We settled on one of my most unique locations for Jess’s shoot – the gardens and grounds of Aquinas College in East Grand Rapids, which are absolutely gorgeous! From classic traditional brick buildings, to English-style gardens, to more modern architecture, Aquinas had it all and was the perfect place to photograph Jess’ and her great looks!
Jess loved her makeup (applied by Faces by Linda G) so much that she wished she could get it done every day! And the lash extensions she had applied were a killer finishing touch, making her eyes absolutely pop.
My favorite memory of Jess’s photo session was how her dad stepped up to the challenge of carrying around my lighting equipment. By the time we were finished, I seriously considered hiring him to be my light guy – he had such a knack for it!
Here are some of Jess’s thoughts about her Senior Portrait Experience!
“My favorite part of working with Jennifer is that she made my experience fun! She was able to find the perfect spots and poses for my pictures! Jennifer was easy to get along with, and her pictures have fantastic quality. Plus, I loved how my makeup turned out! You can’t go wrong with Images by Jennifer for your senior pictures!”
