Working with Caitlin last June was so fantastic! A senior at Allendale High School, Caitlin wanted an urban industrial location in Grand Rapids for her senior photos, and I knew just the spot for her! We had lots of fun selecting outfits in the week leading up to her shoot, including a sequined tank which was a great tribute to her love of hip-hop dance, an outfit featuring one of her favorite pairs of purple Converse sneakers, and a gorgeous kimono that brought out her incredible blue eyes!

With her laid back personality and quirky sense of humor, Caitlin seemed to be having a blast in front of the camera. Not only did she rock the serious look, she has a gorgeous smile as well. She is a natural beauty and was worried about professional makeup not working well for her, but my makeup artist, Linda Grise addressed her concerns and did an amazing job. Caitlin and her mom were both pleased with the resulting look.

Here’s what Caitlin said about her Senior Portrait Experience:

“I am not what you call a “photogenic person.” I was worried I wouldn’t look like myself in my photos. But Jennifer did great! After a few photos, she would show me one or two, so I could see how they were turning out! Jennifer made me feel comfortable, and we had some laughs, too! The location of my photoshoot was like a jungle gym; we even climbed on some low rooftops, but Jennifer got the perfect pictures!
